The Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology is both an annual event and a year-round online discussion of ways that faculty are using technology to enhance teaching, learning, and research.

Mobile apps for use in biology courses will be described in this presentation. The apps were developed by IST students, and these students were involved in the entire process, from requirements gathering through development to testing the effectiveness of the apps in student learning.
