This session will detail my Media Commons Mobile Media Pilot project from the fall 2013 semester. The project involved students using iPad minis to create strength training instructional videos and then link them to QR codes which were posted in the campus weight room. This allowed any campus community member to utilize the codes to learn an exercise. This session will examine the process used in this project and will look at both the faculty member’s experience with it, as well as the students’ experience. Attendees will be able to view the instructional videos, either online or through the QR codes (requires a free QR reader app on a smartphone).
