The Center for Online Innovation in Learning (COIL) engages the University’s extensive research enterprise to improve online learning at and beyond Penn State. The purpose of the Center for Online Innovation in Learning’s Research Initiation Grant (RIG) Program is to provide “seed funding” during the development and “proof of concept” stages of research projects that have the potential to enhance teaching and learning through online innovation. Throughout the day, recipients of COIL RIGs will offer e-poster sessions to discuss and demonstrate RIG findings. This is a great way to find out first-hand the incredible innovations RIGs have seeded at Penn State, and perhaps inspire you to apply for your own RIG.
