The Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology is both an annual event and a year-round online discussion of ways that faculty are using technology to enhance teaching, learning, and research.

Science and Creativity for the Masses: Experiences from Two MOOCs at Penn State

Two of the MOOCs delivered by Penn State in 2014 were Creativity, Innovation, and Change; and Epidemics. Teams from these MOOCs share their experiences in designing, developing, and delivering their MOOC. They will each describe the highly collaborative effort it took to create their courses with teams that included faculty, instructional designers, multimedia specialists, developers, engineers, and student assistants. They will also share their lessons learned as well as future plans for continued delivery of their MOOCs.
